WE COLLECT VEHICLES FOR BREAKING by authorized means including via telephone request and we do the corresponding VEHICLE REGISTRATION CANCELLATION with the PRA: Execution of all the processes related to vehicle registration cancellation, using a computer system which means it can be carried out in a short time and in the correct manner provided for law, freeing the owner from any responsibility inherent in the car's end-of-life process by taking charge of the disposal of the vehicle that is not classified as hazardous waste by current legislation.
According to the law
THE VEHICLE MUST BE DELIVERED IN ITS ENTIRETY, NOT DISASSEMBLED (it can be damaged or burnt) and, in this circumstance, the only costs to be borne by the owner are
vehicle registration cancellation and transport. Conversely, if the vehicle is incomplete or contains additional waste, the collection will only be carried out on the basis of a cost borne by you depending on the condition of the vehicle,
as required by law.

The scrapping of vehicles is regulated by two laws:

the
Legislative Decree 209/03
regulates the breaking of vehicles in categories
- M1 (vehicles used for the carriage of passengers with no more than eight seats in addition to the driver's seat: normal cars and caravans)
- N1 (vehicles used for the carriage of goods and with a maximum weight not exceeding 3.5 tonnes).
- L2 (three-wheeled vehicles with a maximum design speed of not more than 45 km/h)
- Legislative Decree 152/06 regulates the breaking of all other vehicles, for example: trailers, large trucks, buses, mopeds and motorcycles, etc.
For
NOT TO PAY THE ROAD TAX
for the following year, the vehicle must be delivered for breaking by the expiry date of the tax stamp's validity; more specifically,
the obligation to pay lapses from the point of the vehicle's delivery to the authorized treatment facility that delivers the Certificate of destruction to the owner, therefore the date shown on the Certificate is valid: eg. road tax expiry in April, the vehicle must be delivered for breaking by April.
There is an exception:
residents of Lombardy
do not pay the following year's road tax if they deliver the vehicle
to an authorized treatment facility
that
cancels it within the month of payment of the road tax
(and not within the expiry date of validity): e.g. if road tax expiry month is in April, it is not necessary to pay the road tax if the vehicle registration is cancelled at the PRA within the month of May. Therefore, the vehicle must be delivered to the authorized treatment facility in advance, i.e. not at the very end of the road tax payment month but at least 5 days before the last day of the month, to allow the authorized treatment facility to carry out the vehicle registration cancellation procedures with delivery of the number plates to the PRA.
