Whistleblowing Reports

Whistleblowing aims to bring to light wrongdoing in the general interest of a company by those who works for or is in contact with it in the course of its business. The discipline of whistleblowing was introduced in Italy by Legislative Decree No. 24/2023 implementing European Directive No. 1937/2019

What can be reported?

• facts or circumstances that occurred in the presence of the reporter and/or for which he or she has documentary evidence
• in the event that the facts or circumstances did not occur in his or her presence, the report could indicate specifically specific individuals who can report from direct experience on the facts that are the subject of the Report
• generalities or other elements that would make it possible to identify the person who committed what was reported
• a list of other individuals (e.g., witnesses) who may report on the facts subject to Reporting
• any documents that may confirm the merits of the Report
